Lucia,
I would have gotten a less expensive pair if I could find one that suited my face. Alas, there was none. I am generally not brand conscious. I am still wearing the same and only pair of sandals which I bought four years ago for RM20. Aesthetics, comfort and practicality is more important to me than brand.

peter, actually i don't go for brand but one can't deny the fact that sometimes branded items are far superior and with better quality than non branded ones. and that most branded shoes are aesthetic, comfort and practical.

i remember once i saw a very nice pair of shoes which went for only RM12. bought it... well comfortable to wear... but just 14 days later, the strap broke. then the first time i bought a scholl sandal for about RM80, when i first wore it, i felt so comfortable and so nice with it. it has that cushiony feel and i even have the urge to jump up and down with it. never have i wear such a comfortable shoes before.

btw, i bought that shoes about 6 years ago and am still wearing it now (with some 'repairs' done).

Lucia,
Branded items do last longer, but not all. I will not mind buying an unbranded item if the quality is equal to those branded ones.

Carol,
Cool? Wait till you see the eye bags after I remove the glasses.
