Look who is gracing the front page of Star Two today. Suanie of As Suanie Sees It is featured prominently there with her trademark sweet smile. The article Bloggers ‘r’ Us interviewed five Malaysian bloggers – Aizuddin Danian, Suanie, Minishorts, Kenny Sia and myself. This write-up is a refreshing change from the controversy and bad publicity blogs have been getting of late. Good work Micheal!

omg i’m so cute!!!
Told you so!
congrats to you peter! again appearing in the paper! (how many times already eh?).
yes, i agree with you, peter that this write-up (with the 4 bloggers personally relating their experiences) is indeed a refreshing change from the recent bad publicity blogs had been receiving. i hope the media will choose to feature more and more articles like this… and also get to interview jeff ooi esp. over his freedom blog award, and not zoom in on some ‘sensationalism’ just to keep the readership up.
;D my pete jai, u fehmes liao. Must stick up for us. malaysian bloggers need u
She looks SWEET!
Eh how come everyone posed in front of their computer screen and I’m the only one looking pissed?
Jeff Ooi is persona non grata in many local newsrooms. He is not getting the credit he deserves locally but we can see that his work is being recognised outside the country, the Freedom Blogs award being one of them.
😀 I will do what I can but are you not over-estimating my abilities?
That you must ask Michael. But isn’t that your trademark pose?
Kenny, the moment I saw that photo, I thought…
“WHERE’s THE BIG BIRD??!!!”
hello peter! just popped by to say congratulations, not only for appearing in the papers (as per lucia) but for a wonderful job in upkeeping this blog!very impressive with extensive links & elaboration! i really admire your strength, courage & determination, not giving in, not giving up & not taking no for an answer. I pray that GOD will continue to bless & annoint u & protect u in all your future undertakings.
Congrats on the interview =)
Now thats more like it 🙂
You GUYS and GIRLS gotto put your autograph on my STAR TWO, ok???!!!
Thank you. My stength comes from the people who have cared for me and are still showering me with unconditional love since that fateful day. I have been blessed with these people. Life have been so much easier with them. Peace be with you too.
Always love/d your titles, your write-ups, your help, your humour, the sadness and all the other emotions and stories in your blog. I herewith name you Master-Guru (that’s up from my usual Guru – comment for those who don’t know “our” relation:)) lol
That title is truly an overstatement. Thanks anyway. See you at the PPS bash.
eh how come you don’t have those ‘paisay’ icons ??? I want a ‘paisey’ icon.
*Blinks several times.*
Paiseh? You looked so good there, even with your eyes showing only. On the other hand, that photo of me is very unflattering. Bah! Looking forward to meeting you on Thursday.
Well done! It was lovely to see local bloggers featured ….
Congratulations, read about it in the Star a moment ago. It’s refreshing that they finally details the webpages this time so people will actually who Malaysian Bloggers are. Glad you’re one of them that got highlighted, now Aunt Lilian must be saying why she never kena publicity one hehe. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. Bloggers are beginning to get the attention that they deserve. We have moved in from the fringes. This is a good thing.
Thanks. I was at the right place at the right time. It is a good that local bloggers are being given such positive coverage. This certainly will encourage more to blog.
hey, I have seen on on the star.
you have a nice blog…
It is well done… with nice pics..
Happy fathers day..
finally, thier tears dropped when they saw each other.
They hugged each other tightly and went speechless.
It was an emotional evening.
i seriously feel everyone looked fabulous in the paper! Gorgeous!
Come here after reading the star…quite an informative blog…I would say..
well i think this will aspire a lot of Malaysians to join the blog bandwagon.. cool… 😉
just a quick one to say that I have it on very good authority that Jeff Ooi’s blog was NOT featured because the writer wanted to focus more on personal blogs and to show the REAL people behind the blogs, and thought these four bloggers were rather interesting to feature. 🙂
I hope so. Blogging has multiple benefits. I have gained a lot from blogging.
The angle of this article focused on personal blogs. I agree that a socio-political blog would be out of place here.
congrats 4 appearing in the star =P blogger rulz…hehe
Wah, famous liao! 🙂
wah….congrats…kung hei kung hei..famous liow.. ;P
Well, congrates that u and other great bloggers able to make it up in the newspaper.Although i missed the chanced to buy the star newspaper yesterday but still able to read from the star online.Nice 1!
Picked up The Star and went, “Nieh? These people look familiar wannnn?” Congrats on the feature. Anyways, was wondering, “How come didn’t take the ‘hair-flowing, ghost-like’ post? ekekkeke….
Great bloggers? I just want to be what I was before this came out. The “great” tag comes with great expectations that I am afraid I am not able to live up to.
Thanks. Well, the hair was flowing, but not ghost-like. 😀
Can anyone tell me why the pictures on your site don’t appear on my browser (IE 6.xxx)? This is the third time that this has happened since I was introduced to your site by the Star report.
great or not,you still can be yourself. At least u let us know hows the world of someone who slightly different from us(hope u dont mind i said that).Be yourself and hope to read more life like blogs from you.
As far as I can see, my blog is displaying as normal in IE 6 and Opera 8. Perhaps you should check your configuration.
Thanks you. This blog is about my life. It always has been. It will always be. 😀
