  4. I had my fair share of onion peeling experience as a restaurant helper many light moons ago And I know what its like to have teary eyes and when not to pick your nostrils! 🙂

  6. If you wear contact lenses while peeling onion, you will not have teary eyes. ;-))

  7. run some water over the onions first. i find that by doing this, my eyes don’t tear up when i chop onions.

    as for nose-picking, do not pick your nose when preparing food of any sort :p
