peter and wuan, thank you very much for the ride home. the delicious lunch at Second Wife Street was very nostalgic for me, in a good way, too :) kam sia.

Peter:
You are most welcomed. We, too, enjoyed your company very much. Looking forward to seeing you in KL soon.

Hey how can you say Penang drivers are the worst!!Let me tell you that they are the most practical and environmentally conscious drivers around.Let me give their good points.

1)Braking abruptly while driving is good as it checks the serviceability of the brakes in case of emergencies.

2)Turn indicators are a waste of resource as they wear out the lights and switches unnecessarily.Bad for the environment.

3) Weaving in and out of traffic is a good test to see if there's a leakage in the steering system and straddling the lane dividing line is good practice as it gives a visual indication if you are drifting left or right.

Its the reckless out of towners that don't appreciate the good driving practique of Penang drivers.

Oh I almost forgot , dashing out of a junction is good because a)it tests if your engine is in good shape and has sufficient power b)It serves as a good check on the other drivers reflexes c) if your time to reincarnate is long overdue.

FYI,I've been out of penang for so long I've become a bad driver just like you.

Peter:
I actually drive like a Penangite in KL, a KLite when in Penang and a little of both when in Ipoh. I am as good Malaysian drivers can get. And I like how you summed up Penang drivers. We are not that nasty on the road after all. :D
