Make sure you put pressure to the tech support staff, most of the time they are to offer you some compensation like free RAM, etc. Don't say I tell, ok. Haha...

		<description>you're probably unlucky. defect must've somehow crept pass QC. they might need to tighten up their QC processes more. Had a dell for 3 years and it worked ever so well for me. My HP now, I can't say the same. 

However, I must applaud dell's after sales support, which has been truly efficient. Peter, you might want to press them to give you a new one, if you're not convinced that they've found the root cause. Might just give you furhter problems down the road.
