Farewell Patches

Farewell Patchy

Our only kitten Patches has died. He did not come back for dinner last night. He did not come back for breakfast and lunch today. When Wuan got back from work just now, she found him lifeless outside two houses away from ours. We do not know what happened to him.

Patches, or as we would prefer to call him Patchy, was eight months old. He would follow Wuan in and out of the house, mewing after her for attention. When he was not following Wuan, he would crawl into the cargo net under my wheelchair to rest. We are going to miss him. Farewell my dear friend and thank you for all the wonderful memories.

  1. Sorry to hear of your kitten Pete. I remember you were talking about him not returning home. Like we talked, I think it’s about time you got yourself a dog.

  2. Sorry for your loss, Peter. Last month, we lost our beloved Hugo, a rottweiler of 8 years, to PLE (protein losing enteropathy). He fought long and hard and just when we saw signs of improvement, he passed on in his favourite spot. It was truly heartbreaking and I can understand some of the sorrow you and your family are going through. God bless and He will see you and your family through this, as He always does.
