Congrats, Peter, for getting the GPS system. I thought, why would I need to get a GPS since I know most of KL roads?? But after a chance to 'test drive' the unit, this creature actually broadens your horizons!

The price has gone so much lower now. I prefer to get a Garmin rather than the other copycats..

Happy navigating, and shooting! :D

Peter:
Thanks! The GPS device certainly broadens one's horizon. There are so many more places to explore, so many more things to do and so many more makan places to try out. What model are you currently using?

Ya ya! The Place of Interest feature rocks. It shows you where the nearest Bank, Petrol Station, Hospital, and loads of other places are. You never have to fear being lost in an area you are not familiar with. As a plus, if you miss a turn, the GPS promptly finds another alternative route to that place :)

Peter:
I have yet to fully test the Nuvi. Going on a road trip to Ipoh then Penang in the next few days. My road trips are usually boring in the sense that I stick to places I know only. Now I can roam further without the fear of losing my way. How long have you been using your device?

RM1,000. I can forget about it. I rather lost my way. Haha!

Peter:
There are a lot of other information inside like restaurants, hospitals, police stations and other places on interest. Very useful if you are in unfamiliar territories and in emergencies.
