Wordpress 2.6.3 Upgrade
The hardworking people at Wordpress have just released Version 2.6.3 to address a vulnerability in the Snoopy library. According to the latest entry in the Wordpress blog, it was stated that the blog engine uses Snoopy to fetch feeds shown in the dashboard. For existing Wordpress users who do not want to download the whole release, they can download two files from the above link and copy them over the 2.6.2 installation. This was what I did. It is faster and easier than having to download the compressed files, extracting them and the upload all the files to the server.
