OK ,thats good to hear buddy.Maybe what you need are small portions in your regular meals and snacks in between to keep the blood sugar levels constant. I could stand to lose a few pounds, middle age syndrome - same calorific intake even as we age.

Peter:
I need to lose some weight too. My pants are getting tight.

Have you tested yourself for diabetes? Hate to say it but this is one of the symptoms. Conversely to your explanation, not enough insulin results in the cells not being able to efficiently absorb the sugars in the system resulting in your cells erroneously sending signals to increase the intake of sugar which inevitably increases your blood sugar level.

Peter:
My blood glucose level is normal. What I need to do is to manage my meal and mealtime better.

too much insulin released is better than no insulin... that would have been a greater concern....

Peter:
I need to keep it at a consistent level. Too much causes extreme mood swings and a string of other undesirable symptoms in me.
