Rainy And Moody

The rain has been falling on and off for the past hour. Thunder is still rumbling in the distance. It is exceptionally dark for five in the evening. This is the kind of weather that turns my mood topsy turvy. At times like this, I desperately look for a reason, any reason, to lift my sagging spirits.

Looked I did and fortunately for me this time around, Wuan had planned to cook one of my favourite dishes this weekend. I latched into that thought and am already salivating just thinking about it. The last time we had it was at least five years ago. That is a long time to be hankering for something. I am really looking forward to it. The anticipation has certainly chased away some of that moodiness.

  1. For many people rain and dark clouds have this effect. And then there are people like me who are awakened by the movement of the clouds and the wind. We’re refreshed by the rain cleansing the air and earth.

    1. If the sun had come out after the rain, it would have lifted my mood. This is the rainy season. Most days are like that. *shivers*
