Doppelganger?

CSTan7 of Sinner’s Ark asked: Blogging Moron or 80’s HongKong Star? He thinks I look like Patrick Tse Yin. This Hong Kong star used to be very good looking. He was most memorable in the eighties’ Hong Kong TV series The Shell Game (Qian Wang Zhi Wang) as Lo Sei Hoi. Go give CSTan7 a piece of your mind. Flame him or agree with him, I do not care.

  1. didn’t even know that Qian Wang Zhi Wang has an english name (the shell game???), but that was 1981, and I was like…1 year old? Mum used to love that show.

  2. Jayelle,
    I hope so. 😀

    Kenneth,
    Peace.

    CS,
It was a nice show then – very gripping at times. And Tse Yin looked so cool.

  3. peter, now that cstan brought it up… well… there is some resemblance.

yeah long long time ago as a child i used to enjoy patrick tze yin’s show esp. the romantic ones with those ‘old’ stars like chen chen, tien niu. the best romance movie i like which he started in was ‘the heart with a million knots’ with then movie queen chen chen. that movie made me cry bucket of tears.

oops. shouldn’t have mentioned this. now people can guess my age. 🙂

peter, sometimes i feel you look like jacky chan’s son, jaycee too! 😉

  4. Lucia,
Among others, I have also been said to resemble Andy Lau and Eddie Kwan in my school days although I could never see the similarities with Andy. Eddie Kwan – yes I definitely look somewhat like him from certain angles. Now you think I look like Jaycee Chan too? I must look like a lot of stars huh?

    Sweetspirit,
The pulled-back hair and the forehead maybe?

  5. Eh, yala, after you put the two picture side by side finally revealled that you’re indeed Tze Yin in disguise! Just joking there, but the similarity is UNCANNY!

  6. Jase,
You can thank CSTan7 for revealing this to the whole world. Apart from being famous for confessing that I am a moronic blogger, it is also circulating around blogosphere that I look like or maybe is Tse Yin in disguise. What is next?

    Jinny,
39 is not young anymore. Do I look my age?

  7. Peter, That’s what I thought the first time I saw that pic of yours. But if its any consolation, you don’t look like him in real life. 🙂

  8. Yes!! That’s who you resemble. When I first saw your photo online, I thought you looked like someone but couldn’t place the face. Ahh!! Now, I know 🙂 Btw, Patrick Tse was one handsome guy and still is in his old age!

  9. James,
    Yeah, I am one-of-a-kind.

    JxT2J,
It is not very nice to laugh out so loud at other people’s expense.

    JoMel,
I must change that photo soon to one that looks like me and not anyone else.

    Bkworm,
I have to agree that Tse Yin was a very talented actor. I hope I can look that good in my old age too.:)

  10. Helped by plastic surgery and botox injections, I think.

Some people just dowanna look and act their age.

I’m not talking about you, Peter.

  11. Chet,
You have something against people who do not want to look their age huh?

    Lin,
I am definitely going to replace that photo!

    ang,
My hair is longer than most women I know, except Wuan.

  12. haha! no wonder i found u entirely too familiar. yes, the similarity is striking, indeed!

really enjoy reading ur blog. 🙂

  13. Hey.. Peter,
I really did think you looked like Patrick Tse too.. coz’ he was the absolute favourite of my mom.. 😉

  14. JoMel,
I do not know about other people but Mum aged very gracefully. She never fought it. When it gradually came she accepted it like it has always been there. This is one quality I hope I can emulate.

    Daphne,
The similarities are really that striking?

    MrsT,
You are subtly hinting that I am very old huh?

  15. >> You have something against people who do not want to look their age huh?

“Do not want to look” and “do not look” are two different things.

  16. Chet,
I have nothing against either. It is their life. They can do what they want with it.

  17. remember i said you looked like a rock (or movie-whatever) star? there you go…don’t say i didn’t tell you before ha. haha

  18. dave,
You said rock star but Patrick Tse is not a rock star! Now want to claim credit pulak.

    alvin,
    Hmm…

  19. Well, I can tell people that the REAL Tse Yin is replying to my message! In any case, my mom was surprise to look at your picture… Eh, got other pictures to compare ar?

  20. Oh, Peter, just ask my mom how long my hair was before I cropped it 😀

At my butt 😀 so there’s one more woman whose hair is longer than yours, apart from Wuan

  21. Heheheh!! no lah..! i meant.. my mom donch like any old how actors ok.. 😉 she like the one and only stylo malo .. Patrick Tse .. 😉 So i meant.. you so stylo malo.. 😉

  22. Andrea,
Hahaha. Right. Patrick Tsse has been around before I was even born. Maybe I tried to copy him?
