The Digital Awakening Is Six

The Digital Awakening turned six exactly one week ago. There was no commemorative post then as I was caught up in the hustle and bustle of the festive season. So I am doing this today. These six years have been a truly enriching one.

Blogging has yielded more than the effort that I put into writing the entries – the friendships forged and the publicity gained for the cause that I am advocating for. The other perk is the income from the subtle monetization of the blog which is more than sufficient to cover the domain name renewal and annual hosting charges.

Yes, I have been blogging for six years. I hope this enthusiasm to chronicle my journey will continue to burn strong for years to come. What I have gained from this activity has indeed changed my life for the better. I would not want it any other way.

  1. Your blog’s the tops!! An enjoyable read and one that I navigate to every time I’m on the net.
There’s news about the old Penang, yummy food around the peninsula , personal stuff- like how you broke the matrimonial bed, disability issues, bad drivers etc.
    Here’s to more….!!

Thank you, thank you. Reading your comment, I think I am going to cut down on writing about personal matters. I am revealing too much about things happening behind closed doors. But thanks for the support, and the sometimes very interesting debates we had. Cheers!

  2. Congratulations on being six! Happy anniversary! =D I like the fact that you post a lot about yummy food [like the Char Kuay Teow]. 🙂
