Remember Teoh Beng Hock

Wuan and I hit the road to Penang again last weekend. On that long journey with monotonous landscape, one nagging question kept popping up in my mind – the fate that befelled Teoh Beng Hock. What really happened to him? How did he fall to his death? These are questions all Malaysians should ask. We should be concerned because he was found dead in the premises of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), an enforcement agency that was set up to protect the interests of Malaysians. The government owes Teoh Beng Hock’s family an answer. Every right-thinking citizens of Malaysia should demand for no less than the truth to the events leading to this tragedy. Let not Teoh Beng Hock’s death be in vain.
