Road Hump Update – 27 November 2012

After more than two weeks, the road hump is still there. I woke up early today to call Encik Jamali, the engineer from MPAJ. He had met the neighbours and us on 8 November to discuss a resolution to our complaints. He was not in the office when I called yesterday.

He updated me on the matter, saying that he has not gotten hold of the contractor yet but gave the assurance that it will definitely be removed. I reminded him that the hump is causing a huge puddle of water to form outside a neighbour’s house every time it rains.

I asked for a timeframe of when the hump will be removed. He asked me to call him back again next week to follow up and was very apologetic for the delay. This matter has dragged on for far too long. I hope it will be resolved soon.
