Sandra Smeltzer was in Penang and Kuala Lumpur recently. She is a communications professor from Canada and was here to research the Malaysian political blogging scene and the impact it exerts on society. We arranged to meet at Secret Recipe. On discovering that she would love a good cup of latte, we moved to San Farncisco Coffee where we had a very interesting chat that lasted more than two hours.
