SK-II Skin Analyzer.
Everyone needs a little pampering. I am no exception. For the past 2 weeks, I have been slathering concentrated yeast extract called Pitera on my face. That was after a brief skin analysis at Jusco Mid Valley Megamall where the skincare consultant convinced me that my skin needed more care than the daily bath-time face cleansing ritual that I have been performing for decades. It turned out that my skin has a high amount of porphyrins with uneven texture and subcutaneous UV spots.
Having my facial skin analysed.
After 2 weeks of diligently following the step-by-step regiment of cleansing, toning and moisturising, there is a noticeable difference to my skin texture already. It better be working because the 2 bottles of SK-II Skin Refining Treatment and Whitening Source burnt a hole in my pocket. That excludes Wuan’s Facial Treatment Cleanser and Facial Treatment Essence that I have been generously helping myself to.
The SK-II Skin Analyzer displaying the not too good results of my skin analysis.
My T-zone feels less oily while the usually dry and flaky areas around the cheeks are more moisturised and soft. Blemishes on both sides of my forehead and uneven skin tone on my face are visibly reduced. The skincare consultant advised me to return for another skin analysis after 1 month to see the difference. That I definitely will do. Overall I am happy with the results but not the big dent to my credit card statement. Ah well, there is a price to be paid for vanity.
damn. it looked like a huge CT scan machine. yep been watching too much grey’s anatomy hahaha
Peter:
Grey’s Anatomy… have not even watch an episode yet. Yeah the SK-II Skin Analyzer looks like one of those canggih medical equipment. Cool huh!
I’m very amused that you’re using SK-II, but if it’s working then it’s worth it, isn’t it? And funnily enough, I was just told off by another consultant about my skin and its lack of care. 😛
Peter:
Guys have skin that needs to be taken care of also mah. The skin care routine is very simple: cleanse, tone and moisturize. I usually spend not more than 5 minutes. So yeah, if it works, it is time well spent. 😀
sucker! 😛
Peter:
…
i chance upon ur blog when i google search about sk II. i am thinking of trying out their skin care product too. must go for analysis first eh? cannot just grab a bottle and bring home ah? btw, how much did u spent?
Peter:
Personally, I like to know which product suits my skin before buying it. The skin analysis is free after all. My piggy bank had more than RM700 before I broke it. And that was just for the Skin Refining Treatment and Whitening Source. You may also need the Facial Treatment Cleanser and Facial Treatment Essence.
aiks………SK2…I hate to break the news…but nvm. since u have bought it, just try it out and see how it goes then.
Peter:
What news?
