RIP Yasmin Ahmad
July 26th, 2009 - Sunday
In the end it’s these small things that you remember
the little imperfections that make them perfect for you.
Eulogy
She made me sniffle, more often than once, usually during festive seasons. She made me chuckle, of all things about death. She is the greatest storyteller Malaysia and Malaysians have ever seen. There was never one like her, one whose talent and ingenuity will be a hard act to follow. Malaysia has lost a great daughter. Rest in peace Yasmin Ahmad.

Exactly my sentiments.A very big hearted person with an unmatched enormous talent.A great loss to Malaysia.I am still stunned by her demise as I was expecting greater things from this very prolific lady.
She saw mankind free of gender or race bias.It would have been an honour to have known her personally but thru’ her movies, you get a sense of closeness to her thoughts. She will live forever in our minds as an example of living right for mankind and God.
Oh dear…I just read about her stroke and now she’s gone. What a loss indeed for Malaysia but her legacy in her films will live on! And hopefully she’s got proteges to continue her good work. May she rest in peace.
