2010 In Review

This is going to be a short one. I like 2010. It has been a slow year, no doubt, but I like the unhurried pace. My only regret is that I did not blog often enough although I had meant to. There have been so many instances that I would have loved to chronicle. Now they are irretrievably lost.

There have been some issues with my health, nothing serious or worrisome though. My kidneys are holding up. That is good news. I am thankful that Wuan takes the trouble to cook healthy and nutritious food for me every working day. That, in part, has contributed to maintaining my renal health.

We had planned to do some travelling overseas. Unfortunately our schedules did not permit that. In a way, not having the time to travel beyond the border was a blessing. The money saved went to getting myself a new and very expensive wheelchair later in the year when the cross brace of my wheelchair fractured right through. I am still using it pending the arrival of the new chair in January next year.

It is only fitting that I end the year by thanking all my friends, those that I have met in real life and online friends I have yet to meet, for all the encouragement and also for making my life more colourful throughout the year. Happy New Year. May 2011 bring more blessings to you like how you have blessed me with your friendship during the year.

  2. Happy Christmas and Merry New Year Pete and Wuan or is it the other way around? Another year has passed us by.Old resolutions left by the wayside and new ones made and to be discarded yet again by year’s end!!
Its great to know that 2010 has been a good year for you, like vintage wine aging and mellowing gracefully.
2010 for me has been a watershed year for me.Planning and making decisions on the next course of my journey in life.Time is becoming a precious commodity to savour so I intend to maximise it to the fullest with the remaining grains of sand in my hourglass.God bless my friend.

    1. Here is wishing you smooth sailing for 2011 and may all your undertakings but successes. Time is a precious commodity for me too, and like you, I intend to make the best of whatever I have now.

  3. I find myself visiting the blogs of old blogger friends this New Year. Here’s to your ever lasting (and contagious) optimism! Nice to know you’re still hammering the keyboard every now and then 😀

    1. When you say “old blogger friends” you meant we have been acquainted for a long time, right? Not old as in senior citizens, right? 😛 “Hammering the keyboard every now and then” is the right description as you can see I don’t update as often now. Must be wedded bliss. Happy New Year Fazri!
