Tony Pua: I Want To Vote For Him Too If That Is Possible

The one and only time that I had the opportunity to meet Tony Pua, he came across as a very intelligent and humble person. In his eyes, I could see the zest to change things for the better, not only for himself but for society in general. His enthusiasm was overflowing and infectious. It made me want to go out and do the same too. That was only after meeting him once!

I have met politicians and I have met politicians. I believe that Tony can become a better politician than many of those that I have met. There is an air of sincerity and genuineness in him. Now, he is standing for the Petaing Jaya Utara Parliamentary seat. Although I am neither voting nor residing in that constituency, I hope that Tony will get elected. I have no doubt that he will be able to represent the people effectively in the Parliament. I wish him well in this endeavour.

Election Commission And The Indelible Ink Fiasco

The Election Commission has announced that indelible ink will not be used to mark voters in Malaysia’s 12th General Election. At RM2.4mil, these 48,000 bottles of ink cost taxpayers RM50 each? What will happen to these ink now? Can we return them and get a refund? Failing which, who should be held accountable for wasting RM2mil for nothing? Why were all the issues pertaining to the use of indelible ink not considered before making the decision to purchase them?

Antihistamines Equal To Zero Productivity

North-South Expressway

Thanks to the antihistamines that I have been taking for the past few days, my productivity has dropped to almost zero. The drowsiness makes focusing an almost impossible task. I have been drifting aimlessly from doing one thing to another and accomplishing none. Hopefully, the itch that has been plaguing me on and off for the past few months will be reduced to a tolerable level by Friday and does not necessitate further doses of antihistamines.

Wuan and I will be driving back to Penang for me to cast my vote. We will drive back to Kuala Lumpur right after I drop in at my apartment to collect some belongings. I will not be able to drive at this current level of drowsiness. It will be a very long journey if Wuan has to drive both ways. Victor has kindly offered to drive us back but I would not like to impose on him like this. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be fit enough to drive by then.
