April 2010

April has been a slow month so far. I have been catching up with lost sleep last weekend and the past two days. More time in bed also means reducing the swelling of my feet. At one stage, the odema was so bad that I had difficulty putting on shoes. Wuan, though, has been working through the weekend and has been coming back late for the past week. Hopefully, her hectic routine will wind down by this week for her to get a well-deserved rest.

I was just browsing my photo album. It has been weeks since we last went out shooting. My shutter finger is itching for some action. We have not been back to the Secret Garden of 1 Utama for a while now. I wonder what flowers are in bloom now. Watching them in their full glory never fail to make me happy. I would love to be there when the dwarf magnolias are flowering. Their fragrance is simply heavenly.

The weather is becoming humid. I have turned on the air conditioner in the bedroom. Cheeky is napping in there. I should be too. I just hope he will not bug me to open the door for him when I am nicely tucked in the bed. He has a penchant for doing that. I can feel the energy being sapped out of my body. A glass of chilled Coke or A&W root beer will do wonders. I better go read a book now. This entry is going nowhere.
