The blog meet organiser. She had graciously picked me up from my apartment and sent me back. What more can I say? KS Tang gave Reallybites and me a treat at Dome before the meet. Hey KS, congratulations on your wedding! The venue – Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Gurney Plaza. We occupied several tables inside Coffee Bean. Go to blog meet also must sit for exam ah? Some money exchanged hands too. I am still wondering why. Presenting Penang bloggers. Yes, we are a bunch of weird people. KS… I do not know what he was trying to do. I do not want to know. And what was Frostier peeking at?

I must thank Reallybites for taking the trouble to fetch me to the meet. She had trouble in disassembling my wheelchair intially but she is now a fully certified wheelchair disassembler and assembler. I would also like to thank KS for that delicious meal. It was pasta with vegetarian topping. I was famished and that was my first meal for the day. To top it all, SapiensBryan pushed me around the plaza looking for a toilet for disabled people. While he patiently waited for me outside the toilet, a Neanderthal with a brain the size of a pea barged into the toilet without knocking. SapiensBrayn was apologetic for not stopping the trespasser but was truly annoyed at the same time for the insensitivity of people like that. Still, I had fun at the meet and I am sure the other bloggers will agree with me. I am already looking forward to the next meet.

There will be a bloggers meet at Gurney Plaza tomorrow. Of all the reasons for calling a meet, Ee Yean’s excuse for organising one was because she was bored and has nothing to do at home. Bloggers and blog readers who are in the vicinity and would like to get to know other bloggers, do drop in. Details are as below:

Wuan and I were late for the Project Petaling Street 2nd Anniversary Bash at Charlie’s Place. We were overwhelmed by the sheer number of bloggers as soon as we arrived. Some I know, some I stalk religiously and many I read occasionally, especially when they ping PPS. It was a night to remember with more than eighty bloggers and friends of bloggers congregating to celebrate the second anniversary of the only truly Malaysian blog aggregator that had allowed us to publicize and promote things that mattered most to us. Syabas Aizuddin for a truly unforgettable event. I am already looking forward to the third anniversary celebration and hopefully the Malaysia Bloggers Conference should it come to fruition.

I planted myself at the outermost table while Wuan went around taking photos. The uneven ground coupled with the crowd made it difficult for me to navigate around the premises freely. Many bloggers that I have not been acquainted with were gracious in going over to the table to greet me and introduced themselves. I am sorry I cannot remember all your names. I blame my advancing age for that. Thank you for taking the trouble to come greet me. The meet has been the pinnacle of my trip to Kuala Lumpur. Thank you all for making it a memorable one. And thank you PPS for the most wonderful two years of my life. I pray there will be many more.
