I went to the AMBP Bloggers Gathering and all I got was this lousy Harry Porter singlet for ladies (but look at that deltoid!), two movie tickets that I could not use as it was for a weekday show and a Bee Movie toothbrush holder. Those came in the lucky draw goody bag that I won.

Wuan and I were the very last few of fifty people to get the free drinks voucher courtesy of Starbucks although we were one hour late. I had Mocha Frappucino which is taboo food to me while Wuan had Rooibos Herbal Tea Latte which tasted quite nice actually. Met up with some old friends like Redzuan aka DJ Phuturecybersonique aka Mr. Pot Cit, Sashi of Sashi Syok Sama Siti Mix fame and Suanie who missed me so much that she called to check if I was really going to the gathering.

Kudos to the gang at AMBP for organisng this gathering, especially Mike, Sashi, Ivy, Andy and whoever else was involved. I look forward to more events with targeted themes to keep the younger and restless participants occupied. As for me, I will be contented with just sitting in a corner and soak in the ambience. Anyway, well done guys! And one last thing, better prizes for the lucky draws for subsequent events perhaps?

AllMalaysia Bloggers Project is organising the first bloggers meet in Kuala Lumpur for 2008. For most part of last year, I have been busy with one thing or another and hardly had time to attend bloggers meet save for the one in Kota Kinabalu organised by Dee. Yes, bloggers meets have become one of the few ways for me to make friends now since my social life is almost non-existent lately.

The AMBP Bloggers Gathering with the tagline Coffee Therapy for Bloggers is also giving away drinks for the first 50 to walk into Starbucks at The Gardens in MidValley. I am looking forward to catching up with some old friends and hopefully make a few more new ones. See you guys and gals there this Saturday! Details of the meet are as below:

If I were to run a marathon like I blog, I would not only finish the race last but finish the race 30 days later. My being on a wheelchair has got nothing to do with it. My procrastination does. I do not know why – every time I start to blog about the Kota Kinabalu Bloggers Meet, I start to itch. No, I am not allergic to my new found KK friends. They are great people, very friendly, very accommodating, very helpful and most of all, fun to be with. I am itching now but I am going to finish this entry for once and for all.

I would like to wholeheartedly thank all who spent the evening at Shamrock Irish Bar with Wuan and me. It was a privilege and honour to have touched base with some of the more active bloggers in Kota Kinabalu. Special thanks go to Dee who organised the meet in conjunction with my first trip to KK which was also our honeymoon. And what an unforgettable honeymoon it was. Wuan and I are already looking forward to another trip to KK. This time, we are going to fly Malaysia Airlines. See you gals and guys again soon!

Some memorable things I remember about the meet:
1. Jacq, Wei Chuen and Charlie dropped in even though they had driven all the way back from Brunei on the same day.
2. Why KinkyJasmines? Because she wanted to attract attention. We were attracted all right!
3. Collin said he saw Wuan and me at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park earlier in the day.
4. Everybody say seeexxx!!!!
5. Jasmine has been blogging longer any of us present that evening. And she is still a teenager!
6. Lence told us the Filipino Market is a good place to get local handicrafts.
7. Joy and Julian got a thing for feeding bottle. Kinky!
